The Southern Queens Park Association, is excited to present the 8th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration, an unforgettable cultural experience happening on Saturday, December 28th, 2024.
Doors open at 3:00 PM
Festivities commencing at 4:00 PM
Kwanzaa is a celebration that honors African heritage and culture, observed from December 26th to January 1st. It emphasizes seven core principles, known as the Nguzo Saba, which inspire values like unity, creativity, and faith. This year's celebration will honor these principles with an immersive experience filled with cultural richness, community spirit, and collaboration.
Highlights Includes:
1. Vendor Showcase:
Discover handmade and culturally inspired products from a diverse array of vendors.
2. Music by Selecta:
Enjoy a soulful, vibrant soundtrack curated by the talented Selecta, setting the perfect mood for the celebration.
3. Royal Fashion Showcase:
Captivate the audience with a stunning fashion show featuring designs fromYour Queens Appareland other talented creators.
4. Honoree Ceremony:
Pay tribute to seven remarkable individuals, each representing one of the principles of Kwanzaa:
