OUR

EDUCATE + EMPOWER + EDUTAIN + ELEVATE

The Juneteenth NY Organization was designed to celebrate and empower our community.

By showcasing the marvels of our creativity, ingenuity, and innovations while educating others, with your support we can change the Black History narrative.

EDUCATE

Educational Booths: Set up booths with information on various subjects such as science, history, and literature. Include interactive displays and demonstrations.

Workshops and Seminars: Offer short workshops on study skills, time management, and other relevant topics. Invite educators and motivational speakers.

Health and Awareness Clinics: Provide educational materials on health, nutrition, and safety. Offer free health screenings and demonstrations on first aid and hygiene.

EMPOWER

Inspirational Speakers: Invite local community leaders, successful alumni, and motivational speakers to talk about the importance of education and personal growth.

Resource Distribution: Provide information on after-school programs, tutoring services, and scholarship opportunities.

Mentorship Programs: Introduce mentorship programs where older students or community members can guide and support younger students.

EDUTAIN

Games and Sports Tournaments: Organize educational games that incorporate learning with fun. For example, trivia contests, spelling bees, and math challenges.
